Terms of Use

1. Who can use Job Coach

You must be at least 18 years old. You agree to give accurate information when you create your account and to keep your sign-in details secure. Each account is for one person.

2. What Job Coach does

Job Coach is a career guidance tool. It helps you find job postings, understand how your profile fits them, improve your CV, practise interviews and plan your learning.

All features are free during the beta. If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell existing users before they apply.

3. No guarantee of a job

Job Coach is not an employer, a recruitment agency or an employment agent, and it does not place candidates. Employers make their own hiring decisions. We do not promise that using the service will lead to an interview, an offer or a job.

4. AI-generated content

Much of what Job Coach produces is generated by AI and may be incomplete or wrong. Every AI result is labelled for your review. Check it before you rely on it or send it to anyone, and only submit information about yourself that is true.

5. Not professional advice

Information about salaries, visas, work permits, relocation and hiring rules is general information to help you prepare. It is not legal, immigration, financial or tax advice. Confirm anything important with the employer, the relevant authority or a qualified professional.

6. Job postings from other sources

Job postings are collected from public job boards and employer career sites and shown as their publishers wrote them. We do not verify every employer or posting, and we are not responsible for their content.

Where we notice warning signs in a posting, we point them out, but a missing warning does not mean a posting is safe. A genuine employer will not ask you to pay to apply or to be hired.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of your CV and everything you add. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

If you add details about other people, such as recruiter contacts, you are responsible for having the right to do so.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Job Coach to break the law, to impersonate someone else, or to submit another person's CV without their permission. Do not scrape, copy or resell the service or its job data, try to access other users' data, disrupt the service, or reverse engineer it.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Job Coach and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk.

10. Changes to the service and these terms

We may change or discontinue features as the product develops. If we make a significant change to these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify signed-in users before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

11. Limitation of liability

Job Coach is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you or an employer make based on the service. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
