How we use AI — and where we don't trust it blindly
Every AI-generated result in the product — a match explanation, a readiness score's rationale, a cover-letter draft — carries a human-review status and a plain disclaimer. We never promise a guaranteed outcome, because no honest career tool can.
One thing is deliberately not AI: your readiness score itself is computed with a deterministic formula against real market data — the AI only writes the plain-language explanation. If a score looks off, that's a data problem to fix, not a "trust the AI more" problem.
Where the data comes from
Job postings are collected from regional boards — Wuzzuf, Bayt, GulfTalent and NaukriGulf — and shown to you as the employer wrote them. Employer-reported details (like company info) are presented as a claim, not silently corrected.
The skills taxonomy behind matching draws on two open, licensed sources, each used and modified under its own terms:
This service uses the ESCO classification of the European Commission.
ESCO (European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations) is reused under Commission Decision 2011/833/EU. Career Coach stores only a derived, modified version — normalized and re-categorized canonical skill names and alias mappings — not the raw classification.
The taxonomy also draws on the O*NET Technology Skills dataset (U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration), used under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license. O*NET® is a trademark of USDOL/ETA; this product uses information from the O*NET database but is not endorsed or certified by USDOL/ETA.
Privacy, by design
Your profile, CV, matches and generated materials are scoped to your account and isolated from every other user's — there's no cross-user access path in the product. We don't sell your data, and application materials are yours to send on your own terms.
